I did provide alternative download links (mediafire) for all the software but sadly aerojon couldn't get them to work.

Just a small update regarding re-installs after windows updates on Win 10.

My main machine has now updated to the latest version of Windows 10 (1709 aka - Fall Creators Update) and the none of the SAAB software required a re-install.

Yes, happened to me.

1. EPC just now required a second re-install. I hope that's the charm.
2. In WIS, the pictures in the troubleshooting instructions don't show up. I'm not sure if that was the case before. The ISOView things do show up if required, it seems.

As a general question, because I installed WIS/EPC quite some time ago, would it make sense to download the latest versions if I get the chance (I'm entirely on third-party wifi)?

Yes probably. A Few versions ago, the WIS install was updated to hopefully stop re-installs being run.

Hi Guys,

I`m shortly going to start work on making a new installer for GlobalTIS and Memory Card Explorer but I`ll need you help with the later.

I`d like to make the installer create a bunch of pre-configured shortcuts on the desktop such as "Memory Card Explorer (Dell D600)" etc... that already have the memory window configured.

This way, any newcomers can just delete all the shortcuts that aren't relevant to them and start writing their own linear flash cards.

Could any of you that have Memory Card Explorer please PM me with their Laptop make/Model and the memory window that they use.

Has anyone been able to figure out why WIS doesn't show images with the x64 version and windows 7? Application works but get a question mark when it comes the images. I wonder if this has to do with ActiveCGM viewer?

I'll post pictures if this isn't clear... I've found two ways to fix this.

One: the pictures are supposed to show in browser mode (the button under
the back/forward arrows). If they don't, click on the navigation mode button
(next to the browser mode button), then click again on the browser mode
button. The pictures should show up. If they don't...

Two: print preview will show them- all, if there are multiple images.

I hope I can help out here, I run into this on a Faulttrace Mode article on SAI pump. I cant help in that I cant remember the code that came with it. The layout was all there but no photos would load, just white space or a little X. I run it on a T60 with windows 7 and its a fairly recent download, in the last month or so. I do run compatibility mode and set to XP settings. Im new to the PC/Computer side of cars so I hope that helps.

I can help you, the cause of the problem and work around are described in this thread a few pages back.

Basically it boils down to the way that the WIS is extracting the files and behaves the exact same way on the original installation of WIS2013, sadly, there's nothing I can do about it.

I am also aware of a few instances where the pictures genuinely aren't there. Again, there's nothing I can do to fix this. Short of finding some pictures and bodging them in!

However, what cloves described was no pictures - which is why I asked for more details.

I also missed ng 900 and 9-4X in car selection.

The EPC package has now been superseded by the EPC & EAC package and I`ve included MediaFire links for people who have trouble with MEGA.(Mediafire links to follow-AJ)

Download and run the exe file it self extracts to the desktop and installs automatically following the prompts.When finished it should appear in your program list under Saab/EPC and then you may wish to add a shortcut etc

Hopefully fellow enthuisiasts will find these as useful as I do.

I will leave it for the mods to decide whether or not to sticky this post.

MP = Menu Pricing - Generates Invoices for various works on the cars.

STM = Standard Times Mechanical - Estimates times required for jobs, also listed possible additional work

AIC = Accessories Installation Catalogue - Big list of PDFs detailing how to install various Accessories.


Basically, you can now open your own SAAB dealership!

Sounds like it's re-installed a previous version. My WIS install has pretty much always contained the NG900 and 9-4x.

These really big updates seem to cause trouble varying degrees of trouble. Most of my machines here update without any trouble at all, but one of them completely obliterated almost everything on the laptop - even GlobalTIS stopped working!

Well..... I can't say with any real certainty but it sounds as if a previous version has been installed but I could be wrong.

It's worth a try I suppose.
