They are made by Realcar in sweden. Contact Maptun and ask them to get you a price on one because I had to go through customs and shipping hell to order one directly from them; Wire transfer to sweden, purchased a mail forwarding service in Brussels (since they dont ship to the USA), and then waited 3 months

Well that sounds like a nightmare

2 questions

1) How does the vinyl hold up? Is it something that will look great for a few months then next thing you know the road chips on the hoods are starting to peel and the SUV who parked next to you caused a tear when their door hit yours in the parking lot? or does it age well?

2) can you provide addition details to the installation of the electrical wiring of the rings? I would love to do this on my '06.

It definitely was; They told me repeatedly that they were shipping the next day for almost two months. I told Frank Stromqvist how difficult they were being and he offered to call them; The next day they finally shipped. I am actually in the process of making a mold of the front lip I fabricated for my 9-5, so that I can reproduce them to sell. I am also planning to make a mold of the roof spoiler so I can have them available for people in the USA (since realcar doesn't want to). I'll be doing all of this in August, and I can let you know when I'm ready to produce them incase you're interested!

Looks great! It looks like there are spacers -could do w/o them :) It's a work of art
Thanks :) There are no spacers; Just the adapters needed to mount the 5x112 audi wheels.

It holds up VERY well; But only if it is installed properly by a shop or installer who knows what they're doing. Saabs have some tricky lines and curves (which is part of the reason I love them so much) So the installer really makes a difference. To get the best work done you'll need to remove all the trim pieces and anything that has an edge on the car (headlights/turnsignals, all upper/lower grilles, foglights, side markers, moldings, window/door trims, door handles, tail lights, etc...). I'll admit I keep it in the garage and hand wash it every time it gets dirty; preferably keeping it covered.

The rings weren't difficult to wire in. My friend had a volt meter and he helped me figure out which wire in the headlight harness was for the tiny oval "cruise" lights that are to the outside edge of the housing. So when I turn them on with the european cruise mode setting (activated with a tech 2), just the angel eyes will light up. The angel eyes were bought from http://www.theretrofitsource.com ... They also offer a wiring harness which makes it alot easier to hook to the car because it has the 9006 tap in plugs (which the fog lights use).

That looks amazing ;ol;
Thank you!!!

Here's a few photos of the car with the Angel Eyes I recently installed. I also took some more photos of the whole car as requested (please excuse the dirty interior!)

Is there a way to install these w/out the use of a Tech 2 to run them? Also I didn't see pricing on their website. Can you supply that and perhaps a part #? Thanks... Oh did you VHT your corner lenses as well?

Everything about your car looks fantastic. I personally don't like the black on black theme but yours works well and hits the ball right out of the park! I have never seen a vinyl covering for a car like this and again, very nice. I would think it would clean up nicely. The stance is right on as well, do you get any rubbing and what did you use for a suspension?
By the way, the link you gave for the lights, they don't have an example of a Saab, you should send in a picture so they can add it to there list.;ol;

I think he meant for LED bulbs in the turn signal area's, you could use a load resistor. But I'm curious if he found something in the Tech 2 to disable the bulb out warnings, I would like to know more.

For the halo's I'd imagine you could tap the city light wires, if you have LED bulbs in the City lights and using LED rings, the draw on those wires is still less than that of the original bulb that the car came with. That would be how I would do it.

Matt, how was cracking these headlights open? I've been waiting for an elcheapo busted up headlight to pop up on ebay for me to grab to test with. I want to clear the projector lens when I'm in there if I can.
