Has anybody had issues recently with SaabAux? I ordered the CdConnect bluetooth adapter at the end of January. I received the package earlier this week and there was a shawl in the box. No sign of the bluetooth connector. I've tried to reach out to them multiple times and have not received a response. Going through my credit card company to dispute the charge but I'm frustrated. Really wanted to go this route for my music. I guess only other option is to replace the head unit with an aftermarket set up.

I had issues with my unit too. Since I was not the original owner, the best they would do was a discount off a new one. They were slow to respond but they did eventually respond. I have the feeling it's a part time endeavor.

One thing I didn't like about their module is that you have to manually hook up every time you get in your car. It has no auto-hookup/memory.

I ended up doing the aux jack mod instead. You could make that a Bluetooth mod with a cheap module added in to the mix.

But where to hook it up? OP seems to own an OG9-3, and apart from somehow manipulating the CD changer input I can't see where to connect even a jack without some soldering inside, let alone a BT module.

I had also looked up for modules like Yatour or electronicx which do simulate a CD changer & feature BT but the great unknown for me is whether the signals from the HU and changer are original Clarion (good) or a Saab homebrew (okay, fahgeddit). Me, I wasn't that overwhelmed with a similar module (not Yatour/electronicx) on a Blaupunkt but probably those mentioned do work better. If.

If you're interested I can put together a BlueSaab unit for you, otherwise I'd go with himhk's suggestion. It's got pretty much all the same features as BlueSaab, and I'm thinking may be implementing the code/hardware. Both options are better than SaabAux which lacks the sid song display, and I believe when I looked into it is also limited to one device being paired at a time.

Saabaux website says" CdConnect SAAB Bluetooth is not handsfree compatible and bluetooth only. CdConnect is not compatible with a Cd-changer, if you have such, you must disconnect it. Also note that night panel feature will not work when CdConnect is used."
