Had to get another screw removed - this time the shop removed the tire from the rim which of course has screwed up the TPMS sensor. Is there a way for me to fix it or do I have to go to the dealer for them to wave the magic radio thingy at it?

I believe they are self correcting or adjusting. I had some new tires installed and one sensor kept coming on and eventually went off in about 10 days.

Three of my four tires lit up this morning(LF, RF, RR). Guessing the extreme cold really got to them last night. One tire was at 30 and the others were about 32 according to the gauge I was using. I also checked the fourth tire and it was at 33.

Now that all tires are at the same pressure (35psi), I still have two that indicate as low. The left front reads ok now(after a mile or so of driving), but the right two tires still have not turned off and the front right even has a "+" next to it until I hit the "clr" button. Not sure what that's about.

Was going to look over the manual, but that's out in my freezing car. Being it sounds like they auto reset, I guess I'll just let them go. Tomorrow I'll be taking readings with our TPMS tool in the shop, just to see what the sensors see the pressures as. Sure wish it would tell me on the SID, extremely convenient feature most higher end GM vehicles have(even some of the lower models). Wish Saab would have used that idea in the TX. Kind of a guessing game otherwise, unless you know you have an accurate gauge.

Thanks, now the "+" makes sense. There were two low tires at the time, and three at first. Must have overlooked the plus sign the first time though.

Good to hear these cars auto relearn the sensors. One less thing I need to worry about having a special tool for. I guess some cars don't even need a tool, but still one less thing to have to mess with.

Our 2005 Chrysler T&C that has TPMS also does not show the actual pressure in the tires either. What makes that funny is at work we have a 2009 Chevy full size van that has TPMS that does show the pressures. Makes me wonder what the hell GM was thinking with the SAAB system...

I wonder if a third party makes a receiver that can pick up the signal from the TPMS sensors and display the pressure and do the Saab sensors even send that data?
