You will need the GlobalTIS ISO, Saab GlobalTIS keygen (Saab GlobalTIS keygen.zip), Sumatra PDF (if you don't have a PDF reader), and the Virtual CD Control Panel (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38780)
Put all of these files on the desktop.

Steps:
1. Launch and unzip the Virtual CD-ROM control panel (Note: if you're using Windows 8 or 10, skip this step. You can double-click the ISO, and it will mount)
2. Load driver and mount GlobalTIS ISO
3. Open My Computer, launch Saab GlobalTIS CD and click next repeatedly throughout the setup process (you may have to
4. Open GlobalTIS, fill out the registration information
5. Download the Email/Fax registration file to the desktop
6. (Optional) unmount ISO and unload the virtual CD
7. Unzip GlobalTIS keygen, set environment variable/path to C:\Program Files\GlobalTIS\jre\bin
8. Go to C:\Program Files\GlobalTIS\tomcat\webapps\ROOT and install Java
9. Copy keygen files into C:\Program Files\GlobalTIS\tomcat\webapps\tis2web\WEB-INF\lib
10. Open cmd and type the following: cd C:\Program Files\GlobalTIS\tomcat\webapps\tis2web\WEB-INF\lib
11. Open registration.pdf on the desktop, copy the registration key, remove dashes and combine them into one line. If you don't have a PDF reader, download and install SumatraPDF (Download Sumatra PDF - a free reader)
12. Go back to cmd, type keygen.bat, press the spacebar once, then right-click, Paste, and enter. (the keygen.bat and the registration key should have a space between them)
13. Reopen GlobalTIS, scroll down to the registration section
14. Copy subscribe ID and License Key by right-clicking in cmd, clicking Mark, highlighting text, then pressing enter to copy
15. Go back to GlobalTIS registration and paste the ID/key in their respective fields
16. Click Register License Key, OK, then Logout
17. Close and re-open GlobalTIS, and the software is activated.

You need to add path on the user and system. Locate where the GlobalTIS folder example: C:\Program Files (Ă—86)\GlobalTIS\jre\bin copy then add this to USER and System PATH. In the user its obvious edit it like that and in the system select Path then edit then select create new then paste then select Okay. Close existing command then run command again.

I just updated my win xp laptop to win 10 64bit and have troubled with Java but after 2 hours of trying I managed to have it running. Application can't generate key without proper PATH as it can't locate where Java is to run properly. Locate where is the GlobalTIS proper folder location where the Java is there too.

Okay this may sound dumb. But I tried searching. I have installed GlobalTIS with susscess using the OP's instructions on my computers running win xp and windows 10 and can successfully get security access. In fact, I already added 2 spare keyfobs one each on my 2 9-3's and make modifications on the settings of above said cars. That is, adding Aux on one and modify the locking and unlocking of both cars which obviously needs security access. While I don't have security access problem. I was just curious because the Tech2 view on the GlobalTIS app doesn't work it says no communication with the handheld device when I tried running it. What could be the problem? Although I don't need it but seems odd that I can run and get security access but Tech2 View doesn't work.

Thank you, I thought as much. I have been looking everywhere to see where to get Tis2Web and security access but I cannot find anything. A few years ago I used the Orio portal but that seems to have gone, and on AC Delco I cant figure out what option I need. Any direction you can give as to where to go and what to purchase / install?

For GlobalTIS, I use Firefox and set it to automatically open JNLP files with the Java Web Start application. That essentially does the same thing as the Web Start plugin in IE.

I generally wouldn't do any web browsing on an XP machine, but K-Meleon seems like a decent choice. I tried it out and was surprised to see how well it handled modern websites, unlike the last XP-compatible version of Firefox.
