I see a lot of stuff out there on the internet about "cleaning" up plastic corner/headlights.

Has anyone here had any success cleaning up faded/scratched corner lights?

Also trying to figure out the best way to keep the exhaust manifold looking clean, I know I can clean up the rust but what to do after that?

To me the method doesn't matter, paint or some other option, what's most important is that is stays looking clean/semi clean.

Thanks

The clear plastic lenses can be sanded with #2000 sanding paper with a lot of water then buffed and they will look like brand new unless they have spider web cracking on the inside

The manifold can be wire brushed cleaned and painted with manifold paint form the auto parts suppliers. Prepping is very important for good results.

A company called Novus makes some really good plastic polish in three grades. I've bought it at a local plastic supplier before, but I saw a package of all three types at The Container Store, of all places, last week. They wanted about $10 for the three bottles, which isn't too far off of what the plastic store charged.
