low coolant, slight over heating then battery died
I turned the car on and got an alert "fill coolant",
I drove to a gas station and filled coolant...took about half a gallon.
I started driving again this time on the high way.
The heat gauge starts moving above the center mark (slight over heating).
I pulled over, turn the car off, and wait for like 5min and then it didn't start.
Came to find out the Battery had died. The road patrol guy gave me jump.
It started right away, I added a little more coolant, and drove away.
Everything was fine at this time; the car didn't start the next day.
Tested battery at pep boys, results = BAD
But here is the question.
Does my problem seem like a battery problem or something else that drained the battery?
Can poor battery cause the lower coolant, and the overheating?
