hey guys my 06 aero sedan got backed into last week and the bumper plus my back doors (my expense on the doors) are being repainted.

i'm thinking about further body work.

now the northern state pkwy and LIE here on long island, NY has pretty much chewed up my front bumper with all these pepples and rocks going at 70mph.

i was thinking of either getting my front bumper repainted (i think its been repainted before cause the paint job is crap) or getting a new bumper.

has anyone bought the aftermarket bumper from GS? if so, how is it?

can the 08 front bumper fit on our cars?

i do not want to buy a new bumper thats exactly the same as mine. mine could just be repainted.

if anyone else has an other suggestions or outlets, please chime in. body kits are also welcome.

i truly hate the clip off front lip so would want a one piece front bumper.

Just remember, a clip off lip is better on impact...it can be popped back on later. If you have a one piece set up, it cracks on impact. I have had both on very low cars around here over the years, and I will only rock a lip that can be detached. That being said, I usually put a screw on each end of the lip up into the bumper...this allows it to pop off on impact, but it wont fall off the car completely and get run over...

I agree. If you go with a whole front bumper, you will have to replace the whole thing if it gets cracked.. This is the only reason why I'm not too sure about buying one from GS. Why not look at their 9-3 SS body kit if you're looking for a change of style? You'd be a little different and all you'll have to do is repaint your bumper instead of buying a new one and repainting that. The little things can add up. In response to the new front bumper on '08+ its not worth it. You will have to do a lot... Such as headlights, bumper, hood, etc.
