Well, I didn't find a completely stock dyno, but I did find this

And when I had my 06 6MT vtuned + drop in K&N dynoed it put down 250whp and 321Ft lbs

I've yet to see any Vtuned car achieve the approximate advertised 280whp

I've heard two reasons:

1- Big tuners (Maptun, BSR) like to squeeze every last penny from your pocket, hence why they don't fully give you the possible power that can be extracted just from a software tune. They want you to pay for their many different stages available.

2- Don't extract all the possible power just from a simple SW tune to make sure that their tunes are extremely reliable, as these are full on tuning companies and any reliability issues with their tunes would send the company spiraling down.

its is stock vs bsr vs vtune (orginal -- not rev 2.0) rating the power @ the wheels. done on a manual transmission.

However, howcome your stock numbers are quite high? You're hitting about 235whp.
