hi, you know what ???? i`ve owned 2 saab s, and EVERY time i do a oil change it would blow smoke when i started it up in the mornings , or after a long period of non use..

the first saab blew smoke of an on for about 2 weeks , me second saab blew smoke for about 2 days..... then it was perfect....
really weird only done straight away after a oil change ????

Whoa.

If you only put 2 quarts back in, you have LESS THAN HALF of the oil you need. Stop trying to run the car and fill it up properly. Properly is when the oil level hits the flat section of the dipstick. it should take about 4.5 quarts from empty.

Buy the correct oil. Very strongly preferably full synthetic, but make sure that it meets ACEA A3 spec.

That orange faucet light is your "Check Engine" light (CEL). Go to an auto parts store and have them read the engine codes. Google the codes or report back here.

I hope you haven't done too much damage yet. Good luck.

And if its not already been done on a 4 cylinder engine please get the sump / pan dropped and the pan, screen and pick up cleaned!

Please do not take offense because I don't mean to offend you.

But have you ever done this before? It sounds like your troubles go well beyond a simple oil change and you probably should to have your car towed (do not drive it and risk further damage) to a professional. Otherwise you risk compounding the problems and possibly damaging your car permanently.
