Take the vin and proof of ownership to the dealer and they can cut you one.

 

It is written into the service logbook.

I think it is on one of the lock cylinders, look on driver's side

It is also tied to the VIN number in Saab's database, just go to a dealer with your registration and have a key made. This is the easy way.

Or just stick the key to another 900 or a flat blade screwdriver, you might be surprised, sometimes it works when the locks get old and worn :lol:

 

If you don't clean all the crud out of the lock cylinder, the next key is also likly to go the same route.

 

On my 86 900S I found the key code on the trunk lock cylinder
