I noticed I have some white residue (probably from when the dealership prepped the car) on the grey plastic trim on my bumper and a little on the plastic trim around the side mirror.

What is the best product to remove this? Thanks for you help!

I used Westleys Blech White on mine. You can buy it at Walmart.I just sprayed some on a rag and wiped it down.I also use it on my tires, floor mats, and the mud flaps and plastic fender flares on my pickup.I ecspecially like it on my tires, because it makes them look like brand new and doesn't give them a wet look.

I've used some pvc cleaner available at your local hardware store. Works great, very similar to acetone. Be careful and don't use too much and don't get it on your painted surfaces. Very strong stuff, not for the light hearted. If you use just a paper towel with a small dab of cleaner and rub in one direction once or twice. Don't rub hard, very lightly. Will remove any grease, oil, tar, wax, etc. and restore the orig. black plastic to like new. Since the black trim is unfinished/unpainted it will not remove anything but the contaminants and a small layer of plastic, very minute amount. Also can be used on vinyl siding. Works excellent, and the fumes give you a nice little buzz (jk) :) Enjoy!

Oh, might want to practice on an inconspicuous area for a test. Make sure it's an area that can't be seen just in case you use too much.
