alu36 rims vs alu46 rims- rarity factor?

A not so local (ie 3 hours in the car) wrecker/seller has the alu46 set up for sale.
The source car is listed as 9-3 linear, year unknown.

I'm curious - how rare are alu46 rims (3 spoke Double Evo) compared to the alu36 (3 spoke double y)?
I see lots of the double y's but I rarely see the Evo pattern.
Observations?

ALU46 have 41mm offset and were specced for NG9-3, double Y have 45mm offest and specced for OG9-3/OG9-5. Not a big difference, either should fit the same.

I believe the double Y came standard on deluxe OG9-3, which would account for their prevalence. I don't know if the double evo was standard on anything (definitely not a Linear). Saab had a lot of wheels that were in the accessory catalogue. Good sets of an accessory wheel can be hard to find in my area--one or more will be bent from potholes. Maybe be better in the Antipodes.

Thanks Edt.
Yes, the Double Y became standard on the Aero/(SE) here in 2001. I have the older 16" Tri-spoke version (alu26) which I think have a 49 offset.
I hadn't thought about the offset yet, thanks for the heads up.
I'm guessing the previous owner added the Evo if it wasn't standard.

Thanks, Diggs. Yes, the photos I've seen show some scuff marks, and the tyres are reported as no good. That's ok because I would put new ones on anyway.

With the offset difference between an OG 9-3 and NG 9-3 - how do I solve that? Do I use spacers?
