Been searching for the correct answer and I've found multiple on the site, does anyone know what the correct gap setting on a pair of Denso Iridium (SK20HR11) plugs is for a V6 2.8L turbo-x. I've been having issues with misfires and want to rule out a bad/old plug.

Thanks

Slightly less than what the manual says--I think .8 mm?

What kind of miss are you getting? Is the CEL on? Have you done a live scan to see what cylinders are misfiring?

Probably a coil pack vs. a plug has gone bad. Have you replaced all your coil packs yet?

Purchased all new coil packs too. Going to install them both at the same time. Car has about 35k miles on it so it's wont hurt to change the plugs too.

The CEL is not on and I had cylinder 4 or 6's coil pack replaced about 6 months ago. The CEL wasn't on that time either, I just noticed a sluggish car when 70mph+ floored on the highway. The more I look into replacing the plugs for this car, the more I'm thinking I may hold off--looks like a real pain.

Somebody else will chime in here I'm sure.

I'd just go to a dealer or garage. Give them your plugs and CP's. Labor is about an hour and let them mess with. You've already spent at least $350--money well spent!

Turbo x might be different, but V6 engine in 2008 manual says the gap can be between 0.9 and 1.0 mm.

I was going to take out one of my plugs yesterday to look at the brand/gap (they were replaced just before I got the car, about 5000 miles ago).

I wasn't sure how to unplug the coil pack since it doesn't have enough slack to not unplug the electrical connector. What's the secret?
