Is the turbocharger the same brand ?
Plexiglass hood ?
Funny how the Germans(Euros) place the engine and the Japanese orient theirs differently...
Maybe this has something to do with the drivers position....

no no... not my td04. I've never had one. The turbo is a factory 16G from an evolutionIII (~45#/min)
the eclipse was built on the Galant platform. which is originally, a JDM build.
over there, the passenger is on the right, so the put the engine-weight on the left, and trans on the right.

They never adjust that junk for us, here.

it's in there.... a Saab part.

The MAF has a familiar appearance. And the rubber step up adapters look like Home Depot material.

Yeah, it's the MAF.

a lot of the DSM guys are using the GM 3" and 3.5" maf and the MAF-Translator in setups to all but eliminate the mitsu draw-through MAF.
The GM MAF allows for blow-through setups since it allows for pressurized air measurements.

It's pretty nice, actually. The Mitsu MAF goes ahead of the turbo, which means if there are ANY intake leaks your DSM will run like Crap. Being able to put the GM MAF in the pressurized area, means you can have it RIGHT before the throttle-body, and so long as you don't have any gross leaks there, your car will "sort of" act like a MAP car.

Either way, all the couplers I use are from siliconeintakes.com, not HD ;)

that's all...
