For those that have replaced/repaired their regulators, the front doors in this case, there is a small clip that the cable attaches to near the door lock. Which is this part:

I have to replace it since mine broke off. The question is: As I tried to figure out where the clip attached to on the door, I noticed there was play between the clip and the cable. Thus, is there an anchor that the clip attaches to? Or is it plastic on metal?

Update: I ordered the part from eEuro. The clip "flowers" then anchors into the metal bracket similar in operation to some of the rivets used on the body panels. That solves the case, in this instance. What would be cool, because I didn't have access to one but maybe in the near future, is to 3D scan it and host file somewhere. That way some users can have the part in a shorter amount of time versus waiting for it to be shipped, especially if it's on backorder. Besides, 12 USD (3 for the clip and 9 for the shipping) is kind of ludicrous.
