Hi, a few days ago my driver side xenon bulb broke, and the warning light turned on. I was on for a couple of days, but it did not turn on yesterday. Today i changed my driver side xenon bulb - before i changed the left one i wanted to See If. Everything was alright - it was not.... so i stopped before i could break anything.

Any suggestions to what it could be?

What do you mean by "it broke". Flickering? Doesn't light up at all?
Was the other light (the passenger side) flickering or looking discolored at all?

It flickered for a while then didn’t light up at all.
My left one is flickering so i’ll have to change that to i guess.

Yup. The system will detect one or both bulbs that are end of life so if you only replace one it'll still say that there's an issue since the other bulb is dying too.

I highly recommend that you change both bulbs at same time.

What bulbs did you install? If the bulbs aren't OEM Osram, Philips, or Flosser, they are probably junk

How exactly is it not working right now?

It’s no warning light in the dash and total darkness from the bulb itself.
Bought them from my lokal dealership so they are original

It may be that a failing bulb zapped the ballast. At this point, best bet is to get a Tech II and see what the ballasts are saying.

So right now, only the left side is working as it should?

What model year is the car?

Have you swapped bulbs left-right and vice versa?
If yes, do non-working bulb remains right?
If yes, you have either bad ballast or wire loom between ballast and bulb.
If moved to left, you have bad bulb.

I just went through this issue (of a dead ballast). Here's my thread if you're interested: HID ballast dead?

What year is your Saab? The ballasts are in a different spot on the 06-09 cars vs. the 2005 and lower cars.
