Hello,

I just recently finished rebuilding a head for a 1991 9000 CD 2.3 N/A. After buttoning everything back up I am unable to locate the wire that clips on to the coolant temp sending unit located near the thermostat on the block that reports the signal to the gauge on the dash. I have looked everywhere and cant seem to see it. It has been months since I took the head off so I dont remember where the wire came from or off of what harness, if any. It is not pinched under the head or anything like that, I already checked :D . If anyone could take a peek at theirs and give me a clue where it originates from when it enters the engine compartment, or the harness its from, etc., I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any help!

i've just looked at a 92 2.3 n/a and if you follow the wire from the throttle switch to the loom the temp wire comes out at the same place :)

welcome to saab central ;)
