Thought I'd punt this one out before I do a more in depth look, see if someone has any ideas.
Over the past year the windscreen wipers have been making a poor effort at tracking across the windscreen, they are running slow and will eventually stop after a few wipes. Occasionally they will not work on intermittent or medium (one click up and one click down), however they always work fine with them in the fast position.
I thought it might be the motor getting tired as I don't think it will be the switch, just odd that it does appear to come and go, a failing motor I'd have thought would get steadily worse.
Perhaps a bad relay that is drawing too much current?
It might also be engine load dependent. My wife seems to think it is not as obvious when travelling at highway speeds, but that may just be wind assistance.
When the wipers do stop, they just grind to a halt somewhere during the stroke.
Any ideas?
thanks
