My one question right now is if there is a hardware difference between door modules with and without anti-pinch? I’m chasing an electronic gremlin in my wife’s 2005 9-3 convertible. There’s a battery drain when off and I found an issue in the passenger door that could be the cause. Reading diagnostics shows a short to high in the door ajar switch. Looking at the live data I saw that switch bouncing open to closed with the door open. It seemed ok with the door closed, but then the alarm went off in the middle of the night. I’m thinking the PDM is a likely suspect, but these for ragtops are hard to find. I found one that is for a car with anti pinch, but our car doesn’t have that. Is the hardware the same and can I just program it when I install it, or do I need to keep looking for a PDM without anti-pinch?
