Will it? I have the intake silencer removed and have a Borla cat-back sitting here. Not sure how friendly Saab dealerships are.

Nope. Rule of thumb is nothing voids your Saab warranty unless it can be traced to cause the problem that needs the fix. However, a Cat back exhaust is considered "wear and tear" and does not need to be factory, just like rotors, or pads, etc.

Miscreant is correct. However, if your Saab dealer or the rep who has to approve any warranty claims decides to make an argument that your cat-back provided an environment for your car to overboost, they can.

Find a "mod-friendly" dealership near you (if they exist in SAAB land - they do for Subarus). It may not be the one you bought your car from. They should be cool about a cat-back.
