Just bought an AEM wideband O2 off a friend.

I'd rather not drill another bung into my GS 3" dp...

Is there a way I can somehow cheat the computer into letting me run a dummy in there?

I'm pretty close to GS... so if I have to it's nbd I'll have them do it, but I'd rather not.

No way. The pre-cat o2 sensor is crucial to the ECU being able to adjust fuel trim properly. You will need to add another bung. You can buy a stainless bung for relatively cheap, take the downpipe off of the car, and have someone weld it in for you. Unless they are a complete noob at welding, they should be able to do a nice clean job of it, especially with the pipe off of the car.

^^ This.

Just keep in mind, you should ideally have the sensor in a piece of straight pipe at least 2" from any bend (ideally) so that it can get the most accurate readings.
