While looking at aero Nordic tunes on genuinesaab, I noticed that for the 02-05, stages 2 and 3 have essentially the same performance figures for auto and manual. The 02-05 manual and 00-01 manual stages 2 and 3 also have very similar figures. But for some reason the 00-01 stage 2 is significantly lower and there isnt even a stage 3 listed. On Nordic's site, they dont differentiate between auto and manual so I'd assume they'd say that an 01 aero Stage 2/3 would be the same for auto and manual. Can anyone shed some light on this? Is this something I just need to ask Nick over at GenuineSaab about?

The early cars (99-01) have a different automatic transmission(4 speed) than the 02+ cars(5 speed). The later model is supposedly much stronger and more reliable, which is why the tuners feel comfortable running more power through it. Most, if not all, tuners still limit the torque on the the later autoboxes more than the manuals as well.
