I haven't posted in a while, as I have taken on a new project. Don't hate me, but it's an 88 Merkur Xr4ti with a Ford 5.0 in it. Completely different direction I know, but it is freakin irresistable.
Anyway, my 900t has been sitting in my driveway since about November, I put air in the tires every now and then, and have been cleaning the snow off so I don't get any seeping leaks from the melting ice. I had to let my wife drive my Jeep yesterday and I took her 2wd Nissan Frontier to work in the snow and sludge. Terrible ride, slid everywhere, not fun.
So last night I shoveled out the drive, and topped off the fluids and the old Saab fired up IMMEDIATELY. I drove it around the neighborhood to give it a once over, not one hiccup. This morning I brushed off the snow, fired it up and drove it to work. Not a hitch. I'm kicking myself for letting it sit, but I think I'll be putting it back in service while I get the other project up on jack stands and do some sheet metal repair.
I'll be preaching the virtues of this car till the day it dies.

You're preaching to the converted, but there may be a few uninitiated out there. Keep up the good work.
