The climate control works fine and the heat and a/c blow their proper temps but when i turn the wheel to the right when the heat is on it makes a funny whirring sounds and when i turn left the sound stops. Also, there is no heat "blowing" on the drivers feet. just the passengers.

I havent read about or experienced this problem. Can you describe the sound a bit better? is it constant? Where its coming from?

As for the driver feet blowing. If you take that piece of plastic, Torx 25? screws, under the steering wheel off you can see both the duct lines straight up. The one goes up to vent left of the instrument cluster. The other one has 3 holes in it to blow on the feet. Mine was just disconnected. It just pushes back on. You should be able to see where it goes. Mine fit really loosely on i believe i used some tape to get it to stay in place. There is a screw on the 3 hole one on the door side, the other one is just held in place on its own. Thats where i would start for the floor heat problem.

If thats not the problem, you'll have to research this since i dont care to fix mine. When i switch the air direction between floor, face, defrost or whatever it doesnt blow where i set it. Sometimes it comes out of all vents or no vents or itll just be on the floor when i have defrost selected. i know ive seen threads on this stuff but like i said i dont care to fix it so idk what the cause or fix is.

Ive seen a How to Thread somewhere about the plastic on the blower motor? warps and rubs and you can fix it with a metal screw. I'm not 100% since i read about htis over a year ago but may be another thing to look into.

Hopefully any of this rambling helps atleast get you in the right direction.

well

The sound just comes from the right side of the vents or something when turning the wheel to the right. its constant typically when turning to the right and then when i straighten back out its gone. It does not get louder or more quiet with speed change. It doesnt sound like something is horribly wrong just kinda annoying. I mean everything works fine, car drives great. I usually listen to music in the car but there are times I like to sit and ponder in silence perhaps. Really though, I dont remember it being there when I had the a/c on in the summer. Ill stop rambling as usual...;)
