I have a 2001 9-5 wagon (base) To my knowledge it has the stock sway bar on it. The Powerflex site lists 18 20 and 21 mm bushings, I thought the size I needed was 19?

If anyone knows what size I need in Powerflex I'd really appreciate it.

to be honest, if your not the original owner and you dont know what the previous owner has done then Id suggest getting a gauge out and measuring it. I was going to upgrade to the aero bars on my car but it turns out the previous owner already did that. so save yourself the headache of ordering the wrong part and get it measured for an exact fitment

it was owned by a little old lady, pretty certain it has had no mods, which is why i'm wondering what the stock bar size was on a base model.

All 9-5's were FWD except for the 2011+ models.

Stock swaybar sizes are:

Linear and arc were 19F/16R on '99 to '01.
'02 to '04 Linear and Arc were 20F/17R.
'02 to '04 Aero was 21F/17R.

I could be completely wrong on this, but I believe all of the '06-'08 cars were 21F/17R.

The SAS bars are 25F/22R and are probably about the largest size the 9-5 will accommodate.

what I meant was I have a 19mm bar, one would think they would sell the bushing matched to the bar size.
Still not clear - Powerflex is selling bushings to match the stock bar sizes (18mm, 20mm, 21mm).

If you have a stock bar size for a base model you should have the 18mm.

Yes the earlier models were 19mm

Linear and arc were 19F/16R on '99 to '01.
'02 to '04 Linear and Arc were 20F/17R.

I guess inteller should contact Powerflex and get more information, then.

I'm upgrading to the 25mm F/22mm R SAS bars which come with poly bushings already fitted so if you would like to have a 20F/17R configuration for your base model (instead of the 19F/16R you have), let me know and I will gladly send you mine for just the cost of shipping.
