Living in S Florida has it's perks, but the heat on my 15 yo estate has broken down the adhesive and the faux wood has cracked broken and warped to where it is not fixable

Anybody know where to buy a replacement, or whether a template is available?

Is that the very glossy, almost black, dashboard? I think it was put in almost all non-Aero cars 2003-2005. It's also common as dirt in perfect condition up here. You could try Goldwing Saab. The console piece is a bit harder to find in good condition, as it tends to delaminate around the power lock switch.

Just FYI, Saab used real wood on the dashboard. It's not fake.

They laquered the crap out of it, but there is a thin real wood veneer under there.

5xSaabOwner...I have a 2008 9-5 with the dark, lacquered wood. It is wood...a strange looking wood. The wood on the doors looks better than the dash. There are plenty of aftermarket wood dash kits, but they range between $125-$200. Mine has remained perfect, and I park the car outside.

Most interior wood is actual wood veneer...and always very thin.
