Can anyone advise?

Half way through the my head gasket replacement, and want to replace most of the coolant hoses as part of the job. PFS report that most are not available anymore;

Radiator to thermostat housing (9369950)
Elbow from front of cylinder head (7504654)
Expansion Tank Hose (9349382)
...plus others.

Before I source from overseas, anyone know of a supplier in UK for above mentioned items?

I got an elbow from my local dealer a couple of years ago - PfS couldn't supply, except acting as a middleman to dealer.

PfS did me a ScanTech top hose, though, no prob - non-aircon. If you want the aircon overtemp sensor, you just need to cut a slice out of it...

PfS also did me a ScanTech bottom hose - but the watercooled turbo spur was at the wrong angle and barely bonded in, so it went back. The genuine one was available, but expensive - I was lucky to get a virtually new genuine one locally.

I'd have thought the expansion tank pipe was just generic hose.

I've done well in the past making up and designing my own hoses.
Buy the top quality generic (Gates) and trim to size. This also includes using copper plumbing fittings where necessary.
Cooperation from the parts sellers will be necessary as will precise measuring.
Good luck:cheesy:
My '73 99 used a standard upper radiator hose; I purchased one from K-Mart and installed it whilst waiting in line at the car was - many things were so much easier back then - a better time in many ways.
Cooperation from the manufacturer also helps. :cheesy:

Thanks Adrian, will have a ring around the Saab dealers to see if they have any dusty stock. If no luck, some of the US web sites stock most of the pipes (URO) seem to be available at reasonable prices, so with the help of a friend over there I could get them 'gift sent' to the UK.

Good idea earthworm, might have to go down this road for the rarer coolant pipes. Thanks for your reply.
