i just noticed it after a year of driving. And in second picture looks like I’m missing something there too before the blue horse clamp.

Automatic? It goes nowhere. It's the vent hose for the transmission. Keep the open end high and ideally pointed down to keep anything from falling inside.

You are missing something off the throttle body... What year is the car? I think that'll end up at the bypass valve control solenoid.

Isnt the open port on tb for the small hose coming from the valve cover pcv?

No, that goes to the large port below the vacant tube. The PCV pipe is far bigger diameter, and is visible in place in the OP's pic.

Maybe im thinking of the 9-3. My pcv has large & small hoses connectex to it. Small hose to tb, big ties into the #6 update iirc. But i know some of the t7 throttles bodies have only 1 small port on front vs 2 on others

Yes. Pic shows the two types of 4 cyl. petrol TBs. Older on the left, part number ends with '186, 2004 and onward on the right, part number '191.
