My 92x Aero has 1300 miles on it, is it the time to do the first oil change?
should I bring it back to dealership!?

they pay for scheduled maintenance. It calls for 7500 miles for the first oil change.

The service manager at my dealership told me to come in at 1500 miles and have the oil changed. He then said it was optional at 3000 and definately come in at 7500. Stated I would not be charged for this under the scheduled maintenance.

1st oil change at 1000mi.
- Reasonging, during the break-in period metal particals and other crap gets into the oil and its best to flush it all out.

2nd oil change at 3000mi.
- after the initial change do the normal 3000mi set up

Make sure they use synthetic

I just chabged my oil on the Aero at 1600 miles. The oil was really black and probably dirty. I definetly was some sort of break in oil since its viscocity seemed very light, kind of watery. I changed the oil to Amsoil 10W-30 Turbo oil with an amsoil SDF-13 oil filter. I had my dealer install it. Yes I know I could have had them replace the oil for free, but in my opinion the oil they use will never be as good as the one I used. In any case make sure that at minimum they are using Mobil1 full synthetic.
