I have a noise, very worrying, sounds like my motor is a diesel at like 2000 rpm, sounds like its comming from the head. any ideas, the motor has 207k on the clock, no oil leaks and good oil pressure. could it be timing chain? thanks everybody

I have the same noise but only at start up or until oil is all round the engine, but I think it's the cam chain tenisioner wearing out making the chain slack.

From what my father and I car figure out it seems like it is comming from the bottom of the hear, top of the block area.

I think you're probably suffering from what we are.

It might be a simple fix.

It might be VERY expensive.

As yet, we're unsure.

Also have a listen to the sound files posted, if it's what I think it is, you'll recognise it.
