Hey guys so i'm working on the suspension job, i have in another posting.
But i'm having trouble removing the tire. I removed all 5 bolts but the wheel wont pop off. after tugging, pulling, pushing, kicking. it wont budge. Am i missing something?

The parking brake(emergency brake) is not engaged and the car is off, in the park position.

here are two pictures, do i have to remove the thing in the middle?
I should have en emblem there, but someone stole it.. :/

They get stuck a lot, you have to jack up the car loosen (or take off) the 5 nuts and with a 3lb maul and a block of wood beat on the inside of the rim. Use a 2ft piece of 2x4 or some thing to protect the rim, otherwise it will get nicked up and bent.

When you put the rim back on use a small amount of never seize and coat the surface of the hub that the rim touches. then you won't have to do this again. Oh, by the way, don't forget to clean the rim and hub surfaces before remounting, lest the wheel fall off later on!

haha you guys are awesome.....

I did an assortment of all, What worked best was using a 2x4 piece of wood and got the top open a little, just kept rotating tire and pulling so it would jiggle until it popped off.

I'm going to scrub it down before putting the tire back on. Is it okay to put grease on it?

Clean the hub down to bare metal with a wire brush. A LITTLE antiseize on the hub will prevent it getting stuck.

Since I have to swap wheels twice a year for snow tires, I get plenty of chances to get this nice and clean and never have had a stuck wheel (watch, now wait for spring....)
