I have a 99 9-5 that makes a skreaching noice when turning or braking (when weight on it). Initially I thought it was CV joint, but I replaced and still makes noise. So this leaves me with the bearing. I dont want to replace just the bearing, I would rather do the hub. BTW, it is front hub. How would I remove the hub from the knuckle? Im sure I can force it out, but would I need to press it in? Or just beat a little with hammer? Any help would be great. Thanks.

The bearing gets pressed into the hub....

But wait too long and you won't have to worry whether or not to replace the hub too. A seriously failed bearing will defy all attempts at removing it from the hub. The only solution then is to replace the hub also - for a few hundred dollars more.......
