I want to learn how to work on my car..
Whats the best book for the turbo model of the ng900?

I heard some bad things about the haynes version as it does not even cover turbos. Any suggestions?

You are on it right now. Seriously, using the search function will turn up a discusssion on just about any topic. These threads will direct you to other resources, like DIP's site, PMI's, and many others that will provide data and information (like TSB's available on Townsend, SaabSite and Genuine Saab) that Haynes does not have. That said, the Haynes manual is a decent starting point.

What prior experience do you have ?
We all start somewhere - a lawn mower, a bike, an old car....
Maybe an auto mechanic course at your local vol-tech school would be good..

The info and pics here at SaabCentral are second to none...Haynes tries, but is not nearly as good as they could be....
Covers the turbo a little
Touches on AC
Nothing on the V6

The official saab WIS is always handy to have a copy of, and covers stuff on all models, including the turbo's and V6's. It generaly doesn't have basic sort of stuff in it, but for the stuff like wiring diagrams and the like it's invaluable. If you ask in the right places you can often download a copy ;)
