So, now that I got the car, what should my first mod be?
A boost gauge is on order, but what should I do for my first power mod?
Thinking... Cold Air Intake?
I don't want to spend a ton of money just YET

On a side note, I demolished my tires pulling onto a highway today. One tire fire for about 100 feet :D

I thought I told you that was bad for your tranny. Personally I think you should do the suspension up so it'll put down the power you have more effectively, but an open element intake is always fun. Won't really net you any power, but the noise is awesome. WHOOOOOOOOOOSH-PSSST! It's surprisingly addictive and costs under 100 to do. :cheesy:

I didn't actually mean to do it. I rolled into the clutch with almost no power (slow start) then I gunned the throttle in 2nd and the tires totally broke traction for about a hundred feet or so.
Road was a bit dusty. That had ALOT to do with it.

I'd say mesh grille mod and open air filter mod. SImply because they are the easiest and cheapest mods.... good for a start.

well, what i say is get an new exhaust and intake. and you must upgrade the ECU. that is a must for real power. or if you want, you can just take you car to hirsch or find out actually what they do in their package and do it yourself. 305hp, not bad. not bad at all. i don't know how much it will cost, though.

well, whatever you decide to do with it, i saw your pics, and it is amazing!!! great car, and stock, they are hella fast. so you should be good with anything that you do with it.

Exhaust and downpipe. Of course, then you need to do the ecu too.
Do a search and you'll find endless debates on this topic. Software or Hardware first???

I think it depends on the supplier, but I know on some to get full advantage of hardware, you can get your software programmed for it.

Do a search, and you'll find a weeks worth of info that will make you lose your mind

do the brakes first, no point having all that power without being able to stop. i know you might not like the idea but it makes total sense, i've done it suspension next so it will handle better. then finally the woosh. can't wait till end october for suspension to be done after my hols:cheesy:
