'95 Aero, put 4 new kyb's on last summer when my wife was driving the car. Now it's my car and I can't stand the soft cheap feel of shocks after driving my modified/retired spg. I live in beautiful Vermont with a combination of dirt roads and smooth fast paved roads. ??KONI SPORT w/ adjustment capabilities or BILSTEIN shocks??? Would like to hear people's opinions who have tried either. I know how bilsteins ride from my 900 (pretty rough on dirt roads)but what I am curious about is if the konis can be made as stiff and also softer than bilsteins with dials for adjusting. Do the dials adjust dampning, rebound or both?
Thanks,
Cort

on my 9k Aero, the koni's go from (approx) stock Aero to ridiculously hard.

They are leagues better than standard - lots of body control etc. I'd suggest uprated springs to make the most of them though. I have Abbott and they are just right - not too hard.

Note: You have to take the rear Koni shocks off to adjust them which is really annoying. The fronts can be done with the supplier key in seconds.

Also note that to fit the Koni fronts, you need to strip down your old strut, remove the old insert and rebuild with the koni insert.
