So far I think the only thing that has been done to my car is an oil change.

What is supposed to be included? Wheel balancing... rotation... filters... wipers??

I have no clue.

Right now I have 22k. What am I entitled to and when?

Is there a list anywhere?

Thanks very much
Jim

You get all of the Saab-recommended service items at the schedule determined by the car's computer. It's all detailed in the warranty and service booklet that came with the car. At somewhere around 30K, there is an "intermediate service", but the free service is also mileage limited.

Yep there should have been a service booklet that came in all the information with your manual. The only thing is the service is only good for 3 yrs, 36k miles. While the warranty is 4 yrs, 50k miles.

is there any service that you have to pay for? that's the question.

wheel alignments, tire rotations, fluid top offs, brakes, wipers, flushing and cleaning?

The answer is "whatever's in the manual under scheduled maint."
It's all listed specifically. I don't think wipers are on there.

But, as we all know, different dealers do different things to keep their customers happy.

I guess I've just been expecting them to be more proactive.

With all this tracking and scheduling for things I thought they would have told me "Mr Bayne, your car is due for xyz service."

So much for that... okay I'll read the booklet. What a bummer. :(
