So my 1992 Saab 900 S went in for it's CT today....the French version of the MOT (not sure what it is called in America). And it passed. Even after me replacing the clutch. LOL

Now, this is really strange. On pulling out of the station, the indicators didn't work. No ticking noise, no lights on the dashboard.

I drove it home though.

Now when he was doing the test, he had the hazard warning lights flashing all the time.

NOTE ! ........They still flash now when I turn it on. The lights/bulb works when you press the hazard warning light.

But the indicators don't work. They worked on the way to the station ??? The worked fine this morning.

So what has done/touched whilst doing the CT/MOT/control to make them not work.

The car is now grounded again. MAD !

Would very much like it back on the road.

So any help problem solving this would be greatly appreciated.

OK, problem solved.

It was the housing of the hazard warning switch itself sticking.

Squirted a bit of silicone spray around the edges of the switch and everything is back to normal.

Phew.

Car back on road.

I visit Tours often.
I usually visit Paris every year, I lived there a few years as a child. I'm thinking April 2020.
Tours is actually where I live.

I have lived in Paris three times.

Spent nearly half my life in France.
