Hey guys, what am I missing here? Research has brought me to the conclusion it's a vacuum pump, but my car is a manual not auto. 2009 2.3t wagon, manual. Looks like there was something bolted to the head as it's clean on the inside and grime on the outside.

Any ideas?

That's where the vacuum pump would go, it's also where the distributor would go, you have neither of those.

You can get a new plug to stop the leak.

Thanks for swift reply, been trying to find one online but not coming up with anything, is there a specific name for it?
