What do you get when you get a new car?

I want to know what I'm missing. Let me start the list.

1. window sticker with price (didn't get)
2. black owner's manual case, looks like a book (got)
3. owner's manual, warranty book, radio book (got)
4. tire info (?) (didn't get)
5. Saab key chain (got)
6. Certificate of Origin (got)
7. Directory of US dealers (got)

I got my car by European delivery so the paperwork is different. Additional stuff included certificate of conformity, paperwork from the Vagverket, IDS brochure, insurance information, letter warning me not to use leaded gas, Saab Road Assistance card and brochure, address change postcard for warranty registration, Saab European road atlas.

With previous SAAB's, I've gotten a tire gauge, key ring with lost key finder address, etc.

You got a keychain?

I asked for the window sticker and got it. Usually they just toss it. I had to ask for the tire warranty info. I can't think of anything I got that you didn't list.
My sales guy nicely removed the window sticker, folded it so it wouldn't stick to something else and then stashed it into the Manual book. I didn't get the keychain (bought it later on), nor the directory of dealers or is that in the big book thing that I never read?

I did get two small plants a week later from the dealer, not to mention a long overview of all the features of the car from the sales guy, I was tired after that, which was after the paper work of buying the car and he put the drivers key hole cover on so I wouldn't lose it. Then I drove home as fast as I could, showed it off to a few friends, went for a few test drives in nice seculded areas where no 5-0's usually hang out  and had some fun (and ever since).

Technically in the US, they are not allowed to sell the car without the window sticker.

It's on when its sold, but they usually just toss it when they're prepping it for customer delivery.

I got all of the paperwork that you mention, along with the Pirelli warranty. I didn't get a Saab keychain, but did get a dealer keychain, which was nice, but way too big. The fat electronic key is big enough for my pocket, thank you.

About 6 weeks after I signed the papers, I did get a colorful book with all of the Saab factory accessories and a Saab blanket. I think this is because my lease is through Saab financial - I know someone who paid cash for theirs and didn't get anything.

Don't forget to get your free ski pass! I have no idea if I'll ever use it, but what the hell, right?
