Ok so maybe someone can help me out figuring out this color. I love it, I might 2-tone it with this color. In the shade it looks black but in the light it has a heavy brown flake in it that almost makes the color look like a gunmetal look when the light hits it. Ithink it might be the expresso black metallic.

My car is EBM. People are always trying to figure out what color it really is. It looks best during the day when the sun is high. As you walk across the car it changes color from brown to almost black. Paint code is 289 or BC 289.

Yeah checking inside the door to look isn't an option. I would need the rest of the car. I bought this from a salvage yard in new york. I planned on wrapping it in carbon fiber. Not for weight savings but more for the look, but after it came and I saw the color I fell in love with it. I am gonna 2 tone my car with this color.

Check the white sticker inside the driver's door. The paint codes are usually put there... Ron
Check my post up above yours, I put the paint code there. This is the same code that's written on the touch up pen I bought from a Saab dealer. As a cross reference if you know the color you can always get the code from paintscratch.

Where, exactly, is the paint code displayed? I haven't found it yet on my 03. I have looked at both of the stickers on the door jamb, as well as in the trunk and under the hood.
