My wife arrived home last night and turned her car off and removed the key, car unlocked as normal. Then locked her back inside the car on it's own. Today she arrived at work and turned the car off, kept dinging like the key was in ignition when door was open, or lights on, ect... She tried restarting and shutting off car but nothing changed so she went into her meeting. Guess what, I had to drive 60 miles to jump her off. I played with it at home, after turning key to on and off a few times I can get it to stop dinging. Any ideas?

What about the battery?

These posts all say the battery shouldn't have died. Any ideas? I guess I'll have the battery checked, it's been in the 20's here for the last two months. We're not used to that down here in the south

I think the time the car was left, and what was still powered on might have done it for the battery.

I have accidentally left my corners on for 2 hours, and the car still fired with no problem. Temp was around 20-30 that day.
