my 1999 9 3 turbo has a different bpc than other 99s. 7485576. that's the part number. all the ones I've found is 300 bucks plus. can I replace it with a stock one? it's also just floating around and isn't mounted.

That is the correct solenoid for a T5 car, which a MY1999 is. They are indeed quite pricey. There is a hack you can do on the T5 ECM to allow it to work with a T7 valve... you need to he handy with surface mount components and have a way to flash the ECM to complete the work.
