3 "can" look like 8 to a dislyxate (ahhh spelling?) person, but it is also a Russian site so it could be wrong.

Yeah, there must be an error in that decoder. No 9-3SS variant has ever had the 2.3L engine.

Yep, there are "slight" errors in the decoder. My 9-3 Combi was said to be 9-5 and manufactured in Finland (no 9-5s made in Finland to my knowledge).
