Hello amazing people. I have just changed a couple worn out hoses to 3mm Silicone ones and after looking around forums for vacuum diagrams I noticed this picture from SaabNoob. I am not sure what the affect of this is but two of the hoses seem to be switched around (labelled in pink). I am guessing the 'T' boost gauge is an aftermaket as well? :p

Sorry I can't seem to get my picture on here. The hoses in question are the one directly above the heater valve, and the one above that coming out at a right angle left. They are switched on my Aero. Any help much appreciated.

Ah thanks for the link. I put the hoses into there correct positions and it seems to have fixed the boosting gremlins. Boosting evenly through all gears now and no over-run cut offs so far. I hope it hasn't damaged anything from being like it was.

I'm still hooting quite loudly sometimes though :p

if your hooting then your diverter valve is failing. id reccomend replacing it with either another stock unit or go with a forged unit.....i prefer the forged

I recently bought a second hand bypass valve because the last one kept triggering the limp home mode which hooted a little bit. This one doesn't throw any faults but hoots even more. Maybe it is going to fail properly soon though.

Its like a 'mooing' sound when in mid boost. If you had it you would know I mean :)
Ok. Is it a steady "moooo" or like "mooo...mooo...mooo" depending on engine RPM (I'm hearing a peculiar noise upon acceleration, but it's not a steady one. It's like a very low-tone "bump....bump....bump" relative to RPM's (but it's not a knock, it's very very low and deep tone), almost sounds like an exhaust resonation.

Um possibly the same thing. Its more to do with the boost level rather than RPM if they are at all separate :p The "moo" or "hoot" fades in or out depending on the pressure. Normally when the gauge is in yellow and the boost wants to start to play. Never happens at full throttle though. Try finding other threads about "hooting" and see if they ring any bells.
