Hi guys this one has me stumped I hope someone has some ideas. Ok my dads aero for some reason at any time starts missing on cylinder 6 the tech 2 just says bad coil pack so we replaced it and all is fine for anything from 10-100km then it plays up again sometimes when you turn the car off wait abit then start it again its fine.We put a new set of ngk platinum spark plugs and another new coil but still not fixed. Some times it's hard to start after filling the fuel tank don't no if that's linked.

So does the Tech II say misfire again in cyl #6?

The hard starting might be your purge valve on the firewall. Common issue on the V6 and you might get an "evaporative emmissions" code but I forgot the #.

The CEL only come on the once, the car hasn't been back on tech2 since it started playing up it's getting more frequent though and I forgot to add we also had all the coils replaced the first time the tech2 said misfire on 6 the car only has 80000km on the clock
