after unpacking the box with the intention to fit them tonight, i got a bit lost.

ill go through the process of how i gathered i fit them, plz correct me if im wrong tho as the instructions were in japanese or something.

ok so ive gathered i push these prongs:

into these inserts:

if so then good, thats step one done, on step two i encountered another problem:

http://s1184.photobucket.com/albums/z333/grantmo7/?action=view&current=256145_1751942800099_1284753178_31387495_5102135_o.jpg#!oZZ1QQcurrentZZhttp://s1184.photobucket.com/albums/z333/grantmo7/?action=view&current=photo.jpg

i cant figure out how to get the securing clip fitted over the black base of the bulb and as the other end has an electrical fitting thats too big, so either way i try to push the clip through its not big enough, so only thing i can think of is to cut the wire, slide on the securing clip then rejoin the wire, which is easy enough as i work as an electrical engineer so have a soldering iron and heat gun etc in work, but just wanted to see if anyone else has any ideas on how they fitted there HID's.

if anyone has a step by step guide on how to fit HID's it would be a great help.

thanks ppl ;ol;

You CAN fit it on if you cut off the rubber grommet thing. The electrical connector fits through if you work on it. With some wrestling, mine fit and the metal clip now holds the bulb assembly in nice and secure. I didn't have to cut anything on the bulb or on the metal clip. The only thing I cut was the rubber grommet.

Is there anyway that someone who has their's installed correctly could take a picture so i can figure out how to do mine correctly??

ahh ok i see what you mean, i just suggested that to a guy in my work and he thinks there might be a chance of getting condensation in there if i cut the grommet, so think hes going to cut the wires, fit the clip then resolder the wires.

this was my original problem, i couldnt get the clip through the connector:

I cut the grommet and threw it away. I made the wires seal by cutting the rubber cover of the headlight assembly, sliding the wires through, then sealed it back up using RTV.
