I posted about a week back about my 1995 saab 900se v6 that sometimes had trouble starting, but ran fine after it *did* eventually start. 117k on the odometer. The car would without fail have to be cranked at least 10 times to get it to go. Obviously something wrong I go for the cheap fixes first.

I tried STP fuel system cleaner, about 9 dollars, filled up the tank with premium, and added STP octane booster about 5 dollars. After about a 10 mile run on the highway at about 100mph, the car showed signs of easier starting. Im now down to 1/4 of a tank of gas, and I have no problems whatsoever. Starts the first time, every time now. I was never a believer in additives..but im sold on it way the problem fixed itself either. The best $15 I spent for the car...

Thanks for the previous suggestions...
