Sorry, the tyre is a 205/50R16 and are on the standard alloys.
I am not sure what offset is!.
Is it something to do with shims on the hub?.
I should mention the tyre has a (Alloy saver) which is a lip which extrudes out slightly past the alloy to supposed eliminate curbing/scuffing.
It is only this tyre which rubs.
The garage has said if it continues they will swap it.
If it's just the tire that you replaced then it's not wheel related. There was a thread about some wheels being slightly lager than others eventhough the have the same witdth. It's a company specific thing. Do the others rub slightly on bumps or hard turns?
On a side note, it's dangerous to have diffrent brand tires with diffrent thread and usage on the same axle, especially on the front :nono; Braking and handling would be greatly affected.
I went back to the garage and put my passenger rear to the front and "rubbing" front to the rear and it seems ok.
Thing is when removing the rear, it was quite wore on the inner tread so I am back tomorrow for another front!
This is like ground hog day!
