Ever since I installed my new T3 Super 60 and replaced the head gasket the car has been idling unusually high, between 1200-1400 RPM's. the car is a 1996 NG900 with just about everything modded. Other thatn the high idle the car pulls like a jet and runs the 1/4 mile in the mid 13's. I've tried cleaning the AIC valve and soap tested the vaccum lines with no luck. Any help would be much appreciated. THANX>>>>>>Blkturbo

i hate being the a hole that always says this, but u CAN NOT just bolt up a turbo and hope that it works... if u do in fact have a t3 super 60 then i assume u put bigger injectors in, and got custom software??? if not then i would take car of those...

I don't think the new turbo itself should affect the idle, but screwy vacuum connections definitely will. You said you checked everything, but there has to be something amiss...maybe one of the evap system lines?
